Bonzo was a monkey actor best known for playing the eponymous character in the film Bedtime for Bonzo alongside then-actor and future President Ronald Reagan. Because of this, he is seen in bed with the President and his wife.
Portrayal[]
Bonzo is portrayed as the beloved monkey of President Reagan and his wife Nancy Reagan, so much so that he forces his advisor Ed Meese to greet and bless the monkey before he's able to say anything. In The President's Brain is Missing, Bonzo is chosen as the new Vice President, much to Ed's dismay, and eventually goes missing.
