Dominic Cummings was the Chief Advisor to Prime Minister Boris Johnson. He is portrayed as an alien that feeds ideas into Boris' head and has several supernatural powers, including mind reading. His home planet is Zargon, and he landed on Durham in a crash pod[1], he is seen frequently mistaking his hometown for "Epsilon 5" instead of Durham which is often not picked up on by the other characters.
In the first episode, Dominic Cummings stands by Boris Johnson's baby and asks if he can eat it, Johnson tells him he can't explaining that his wife, Carrie Symmonds would be "furious", he asks if he ate the baby whether he would fire him, Johnson says "I'm sure that won't be necessary" and Cummings replies "I thought not"[2]
